H1N1: Episode 3
“Kak, boleh datang balik NICU tak? Baby nangis tak mau berenti”
“OK. nanti saya datang…”
Mama rushed back to NICU. AYah said he will be coming soon, with the pizza. It seems like u were miles away. i wish i can be right back at NICU in a blink of eyes. if only i could fly…
When i reached there, i could not hear u cry. i saw a nurse was feeing u. aaa… that was the reason u cried. u were hungry. No wonder la. surely u made everyone at NICU in a mess. I had the loudest cry.. hopefully u didn’t wake any of the other baby.
ayah called mama asking what went wrong. mama told everything to him. then both of us went down again to get some dinner. we was not in the mood for dinner but ayah said we need to eat and to gain back our energy. after eating and praying, we went back to NICU. it was a bit hard to get in and out as we need to call for the nurse to open the door.
that night, ayah sleep on the couch outside while mama accompanying u in the NICU. they provided a bed next to u.
u know what sayang? there was a nurse that u prefer the most. mama thinks she is from India because sometimes i had problem to understand what she was talking about (besides my poor english la). when u cried, sometimes u look for her. and there was a time when u cry, mama tried to feed u with my milk (in a bottle of course. u prefer that way since birth), but then u refuse. the nurse said..
“aaa… i know i know…u want this one right?”
then she quickly prepared for S26. and u drank that one. mama was so jelous la..
the nurse likes to chat with u as well. u stay calm when she wrapped u. but then when mama wrapped u, u don’t like. always kodek sana kodek sini… huh! memilih…
