Injured [Edited]

Zihni has accidentally ironed his own hand this morning.

I have both tall and short ironing board at home. Last time when i used the tall one, it had accidentally folded and Zihni stuck in between. I afraid this might happened again so i used the short one now.

This morning, after ironing me & my hubs cloth, i switch off the iron and leave it on the board. I go the the hanger to get my baju opis. When i turned back, i saw zihni picking up the iron. i didn;t notice when he came into the room as  he was with his father watching the EIEIO before.

He picked up still hot iron and put it on the other hand. I couldn’t do anything as he was too fast. He cried loudly.

I picked him up, put the injured hand under the running water. When it’s cold down, i put some traditional minyak angin.

Now i’m feeling guilty as i didn’t take him to see the doctor. he looks ok this morning. i just called the nursery and was informed he is sleeping. but still feeling guilty la. kesian anak mama.

Yesterday’s evening, Zihni broke a bowl. Erm.. May be that’s a sign that he will have a bad day today.

uhuhu… i dunno la. i’ve been teaching him, iron is hot hot hot. act some some more.. like “ouch! hot!” and what he do? laugh.

and this stubborn boy ah, eager to learn on his own how hot is the iron. and see now, he learn the hard way.
